CodeFloe deliberately separates automated outbound email from mailbox hosting, even though both now run on Scaleway.
Scaleway Transactional Email delivers notifications generated by Forgejo and Crow CI in both development and production. Scaleway Mailbox hosts the human-managed mailboxes and receives replies sent back to Forgejo notification addresses. The mailboxes moved there from Postale, which is operated by a non-EU company, in September 2026.

Section titled “Message Flow”Forgejo and Crow submit outbound messages to smtp.tem.scw.cloud on port 587 using STARTTLS.
The sender remains notification@codefloe.com.
Forgejo’s outgoing [mailer] configuration is independent from its [email.incoming] configuration.
Incoming replies use Scaleway Mailbox’s IMAP endpoint (imap.mailbox.scw.eu) and the notification mailbox’s own credential, separately from the Transactional Email credential used for sending.
This split avoids coupling application delivery to the mailbox provider while preserving reply-by-email support.
